The Quebec government offers $600 financial assistance when you purchase a 240V home charging station. If you own or rent a multi-unit residential building, you also can save $5000 per connector.

BC‘s EV charger Rebate program
CleanBC Go Electric was Funded by the Government of B.C.’s Ministry of Energy and issued an EV charger program recently, which offers rebates for single-family homes, apartment/condo buildings, and office buildings.
For single homeowners, get a rebate of up to 50% (maximum of $350) on purchasing and installing an eligible Level 2 EV charger. If you\’re living in an apartment/condo, you could save up to $2,000 per charger for the purchase and installation of a Level 2 standalone EV charger at your building’s residential parking spaces.
To be eligible for this rebate:
- Purchased and not leased
- Approved for sale and use in Canada and by an accredited Canadian certification body (cUL, ULC, ETL, CSA, CQPS)
- A Level 2 charger, 208V or 240V and features an SAE J1772 standard plug head*
- New, not used or refurbished
- A plug-in or hardwired charger model

Manitoba – Home Energy Efficiency Loan
Manitoba Hydro partnered with Efficiency Manitoba to set up the Energy Efficient Home Loan. This Loan offers an affordable financing option if you want to improve your home in an energy efficient way.
You can finance up to $3,000 for a level 2 EV charger per residence for all upgrades.
To be eligible for this loan:
- Your EV needs to be new and for residential use only;
- You must be the owner of an electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle registered in the province of Manitoba;
- You must purchase a new Level 2 charging station for residential use only;
- You must have a nominal voltage rating of 208 and 240 V only;
- Your EV home charger must be installed and connected by a licensed electrician with an electrical permit taken out for the work performed; and the Level 2 EV charger must be third-party certified

New Brunswick’s EV Home Charging Station Rebate
New Brunswick offers a rebate of 50% up to $750) to purchase and install one new level 2 plug-in Electric Vehicle charger.
To be eligible for this rebate:
- Be a new purchase
- Be a level 2 (208-240V) home charging station
- Be approved by an accredited Canadian certification body (cUL, ULC, ETL, CSA, CQPS)
- Have network connectivity using open source protocol
- Installed by a licensed electrician
